Ce syndicat intercommunal a pour principale compétence d’assurer la livraison d’eau potable aux habitants.
Il regroupe 6 communes : Communay, Saint Symphorien d’Ozon, Sérézin du Rhône, Simandres, Solaize et Ternay.
